Box

Box for Zoho CRM lets you share files and collaborate with your team to accelerate your sales cycle. Using the Box extension, sync, share, access, and manage all files associated with CRM records.

Install Box

You can either go to the Zoho Marketplace and install the Box extension or log in to your Zoho CRM account and install.

To install Box extension
  1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
  2. All the installed extensions are listed. Under All Extensions you can view all the extensions supported in CRM.
  3. Click All Extensions, browse through for Box and click it.
    The details about the extension will be available.
  4. Click Install Now.
  5. In the following screen, agree to the terms of service and click Continue to Install.



  6. Choose one of the following and click Confirm.
    • Install for admin only - The extension will be installed in CRM for only the users with the administrator profile.
    • Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all the users. Users need to have an Box account to use this feature.
    • Choose profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for all the users. You need to choose this option, click Continue and then select the profile
      The extension will be installed automatically for the specified users. After installing you need to authorize using your Box login credentials.
  7. Click Authorize.
    If you click Skip in this step, you can later authorize from Settings > Setup > Marketplace > All.
    In the Box extension details page, you can click Authorize.



  8. In the pop-up, specify the EmailAddress and Password for the Box account and click Authorize.
    The account will be authorized and the extension can be used.


Share files using Box

You can view, share and upload files directly within your CRM using Box plugin. For example, whenever you click Add File to Box, a pop-up will open and consequently a folder will be automatically created inside your Box account. You can now upload files to this folder and it will be listed under the related lists of your record.

You can also upload files to your Box account via the record details page and click Add File to Box.



You can also share files by attaching them as links. CRM Administrator can set permission for each user, so that they can upload and sync files to CRM.

Uninstall Box

The Box extension can be uninstalled anytime.

To uninstall Box
  1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
    All the installed extensions are listed. Under All Extensions you can view all the extensions supported in CRM.
  2. Browse for Box and click the corresponding Uninstall link.



  3. Click Ok to confirm.
    The extension will be uninstalled and all the data related to Box will be deleted.
