Choose objects to sync

Choose all the objects from OUs

  1. Open the Sync Tool.
  2. Go to Select OUs under Sync Preferences.
  3. Click Add OUs and select the required OUs.
  4. Choose the required object types and choose All under Select.
  5. Click Add.

Choose specific objects from OUs

Using LDAP Queries:

  1. Open the Sync Tool.
  2. Go to Select OUs.
  3. Click Add OUs and select the required OUs.
  4. Choose the required object types and choose LDAP Query under Select.
  5. Enter the query to pick out the required objects.
  6. Click Add.

Using Exclusion Rules:

  1. Open the Sync Tool.
  2. Choose all the objects from the OUs.
  3. Go to Exclusion Rules.
  4. Click Add Rule.
  5. Select the type of the objects to filter out.
  6. Select the field name and exclusion criteria, then enter the value.
  7. Click Add.
