Before a session, the co-trainer can:
- Create and edit polls
- Invite people to the session
- Promote the session by embedding the session details and registration form
- However, the co-trainer cannot alter any settings under the Registration and Settings tab
During the session, the co-trainer can:
- Speak using their mic
- Create and edit polls
- Answer live questions asked by attendees
- Chat with the participants
Once the session host transfers control to the co-trainer, they can:
- Conduct the session using audio and video
- Share the presentation and use screenshare
- Launch polls
2. How many co-trainers can I have in a single session?
You can have as many co-trainers in your session as there are trainers in your organization.
3. What happens if the session host leaves the session when the co-trainer is presenting?
The session host must be active throughout the session. If the host leaves and does not return within ten minutes, the session cannot be terminated by the co-trainers.
4. Can the co-trainer record a session?
The co-trainer cannot record the session. Only the session host can start and stop recording.
5. What happens if the co-trainer exits the session?
The session host will be given control over the session if the co-trainer leaves or disconnects from the session.
6. Can the trainers chat among themselves?
Yes, all the trainers can chat amongst themselves using a private chat window.
7. Can the trainers have a private chat with a trainee?
The trainers can chat with an attendee individually using a private chat window. Please note that only the trainers can initiate this individual chat, the attendees cannot initiate an individual chat.
8. Can the co-trainer view the session analytics?
All the co-trainers can view the session analytics after the session to learn how effective the training was.
9. Can the co-trainer launch or end a training session?
No, only the session host can launch or end a training session.
10. Can the co-trainer accept open mic requests and use the Openhouse feature (unmute all participants)?
No, only the session host can accept open mic requests and use the Openhouse feature.
11. Is the Co-trainer feature available in all plans?
The Co-trainer feature is only available in our Professional and Enterprise plans.
12. Can multiple co-trainers reply to the same question raised by an attendee?
Yes, all co-trainers will be able to reply to the question raised by an attendee.
