The
Commission Management extension for Zoho CRM is configured to
automatically calculate the commission amount for salespeople in Zoho
CRM. The extension calculates the commission amount based on your
personalized commission settings whenever a deal is won in Zoho CRM.
With this extension, the administrator can always update the commission
amount in real time for as many salespeople as necessary.

Note: The extension is only supported for the Deals module of Zoho CRM.
Installing the extension
The extension can be installed either from Zoho Marketplace or from Zoho CRM.
To install the extension
- Navigate to
> Marketplace > All in Zoho CRM.
- Click All Extensions, then browse for and click Commission Management.
- Click Install.
- Agree to the Terms of Service and click Continue to Install.
- Select one of the following options in Choose Users/Profiles:
- Install for admins only
- Install for all users
- Choose profiles
- If you select the Choose profiles option, select all the profiles you want to install the extension for, and click Confirm.
The extension will be installed for the selected users.

Once the extension is installed, the Commission Settings and Commission Info web tabs will be created, and Commission and Commission Info fields will be created in the Deals module.
Creating commission settings
The
administrator must predefine the commission settings in the Extension
Settings page. The commission amount is calculated based on these
settings options.
To create commission settings:
- Navigate to
> Marketplace > All.
- Click Installed.
All the installed extensions will be listed. - Click Settings in the Commission Management section.

- Click New Commission.
- Enter a Commission Name.
- Enter the Commission Percentage.
- Enter the Commission Duration.
- Click Save.

- Repeat steps 4 to 8 for each percentage and duration that you need to set.
The settings options created will be displayed on the Commission Settings tab. The settings can be modified at any time.
The commission amount will be calculated automatically for all the deals won based on the defined commission settings.
To retrieve commission information
- Click on the deal in the Deals module.
- Make sure the deal owner name is mapped to the correct sales person.
- Verify if the deal stage changed to Closed Won.
- Under Deal Information, the commission amount and the commission info gets updated automatically.

- The
Commission Info tab displays commission information for each deal
owner. The total commission earned by the salesperson and the total
number of deals they closed is shown here.


Note:
When a deal is deleted, the commission amount and the number of deals
closed in the commission info module will not be updated. It will be
updated if the deal is edited.
Uninstalling the extension
To uninstall the extension
- Navigate to
> Marketplace > All.
All the installed extensions are listed under All Extensions. - Browse for "Commission Management", and click on its Uninstall link.
- Click OK to confirm and uninstall the extension.
