Configure Field Service Process

Field Service Blueprint 

The field service blueprint depicts the process definition used in this application. It defines specific states and the admissible transitions that can take place from these states. The field service blueprint illustrates the different transitions involved in a work order and service appointment. The field service blueprint for the application can be viewed by navigating to Setup > Field Service Process > Field Service Blueprint.



In each work order or service appointment page, the status will be displayed along with the available transitions for each status (state).




Schedule Status

You can configure the name, colour and the description associated with the status of a work order, service appointment, estimates or a request.
  1. Navigate to Setup > Field Service Process > Work Order Settings and select the Schedule Status tab.
  2. Select Work Order, Service Appointments, Estimates, Request or Service Task tab and click Edit.
  3. You can edit the following details:
    1. The Colour assigned to a status. Click the color selection box and choose a new color from the picker.
    2. Description of the status.
  4. Click Save to keep the changes, or Restore to revert to the default settings.
    You can also restore the default values of an individual entry by hovering over the row and clicking the restore [] icon.

Mark Business Hours

You can define the official business or working hours of your organization and the same will be reflected in the Dispatch Console. To set the business hours of your organization, do the following:
  1. Navigate to Setup > General > Company Details > Business Hours tab and click the Edit [] icon.
  2. In the Edit Business Hours overlay, select the required options and click Save.

In the dispatch console Gantt area, the business hours will be shaded white.
