Zoho Social currently supports seven social channels. You can either choose to connect all sevensocial channels to one Brand, or connect the social channels your business is active on. You can add and manage one each of the following social channels under a single Brand:
- Twitter Profile
- Instagram Profile
- Facebook Page
- Facebook Group
- LinkedIn Company Page
- LinkedIn Profile
- Google My Business Listing
Connect your social media accounts from here and you can manage them from within the product. A Brand is created in your Portal as soon as you connect your first a social channel to Zoho Social. You can set up multiple such Brands in your Zoho Social Portal. Your Portal houses all your Brands.
Let's take a closer look at how you can connect each social channel:
Connecting a Facebook Page:
- Click on Connect Facebook from the pop-up window.
- Log in to your Facebook account
- Enter your password to continue adding your account to Zoho Social
- Click +Add to connect Facebook Page associated with your Facebook account
- If you don't see the right page, try switching to a different account and add an associated Facebook Page.
- You can manage a single Facebook Page with one Brand on Zoho Social. Learn more about adding multiple Brands if you need to manage more than one Facebook Page.
You can only add a Facebook page that is associated with the Facebook profile you have logged into.
Connecting a Facebook Group:
1. Click on Connect Facebook from the pop-up window.
2. Log in to your Facebook account
3. Enter your password to continue adding your account to Zoho Social
4. Click Authorize Zoho Social on Facebook
5. Click +Add to connect Facebook Group associated with your Facebook account
6. If you don't see the right group, try switching to a different account and add an associated Facebook Group.
7. You can manage a single Facebook Group with one Brand on Zoho Social. Learn more about adding multiple Brands if you need to manage more than one Facebook Group.
You can only add a Facebook Group that is associated with the Facebook profile you have logged into. Only Admins can configure Facebook Groups in Zoho Social.
- Click on Connect Twitter from the pop-up window.
- Log in to your Twitter Profile.
- Click on the Authorize App button to allow Zoho Social to manage your social channel.
- Your Twitter Profile will be automatically connected to Zoho Social.
- To manage more than one Twitter profile, you will need to add multiple Brands to your Portal. Learn more adding multiple Brands.
Connecting a LinkedIn Page and Profile:
- Click on Connect LinkedIn from the pop-up window
- Log in to your LinkedIn Page
- Check the box to add a LinkedIn Profile on Zoho Social
- Check the box to add a LinkedIn Page associated with the LinkedIn Profile
- If you don't see the right page, try switching to a different account and add an associated LinkedIn Page.
- Click +Add
You can only add one LinkedIn Page and one Profile to each Brand on Zoho Social. Learn more about
adding multiple Brands if you need to manage more than one LinkedIn Page and Profile.
You can only add a LinkedIn page that is associated with the LinkedIn profile you have logged in to.
Connecting a Google My Business listing:
- Click on Connect Google My Business from the pop-up window
- Log in to your Google account
- Allow Zoho Social to access your Google Account
- Click on +Add to connect a verified Google My Business listing to Zoho Social
You can only connect one
verified Google My Business listing to Zoho Social. Learn more about adding multiple Brands if you need to manage more than one Google My Business listing.
Connecting an Instagram Profile:
- Click on Connect Instagram from the pop-up window
- Log in to your Instagram account and Authorize Zoho Social to access your Instagram account permissions.
- Make sure you've switched to Instagram Business to access features like direct publishing, commenting, reposting, and creating hashtag search columns. Next, authenticate your Business Profile with a connected Facebook Page. Learn why Facebook requires you to do this.
- You can only add one Instagram Business/Personal Profile to one Brand on Zoho Social. Learn more about adding multiple Brands to manage more than one Twitter Profile.
Connecting and Reconnecting Social Social Channels
When you first sign up for Zoho Social, you'll immediately see a pop-up where you can connect six social channels to your Brand on Zoho Social. If you want to connect additional social channels to your brand later, there are two ways to do that:
- Go to the Home page. Underneath Brand Health and next to Add more channels, click the small icon of the social channel you wish to connect to and follow the prompts.
- Alternatively, you can also go to Settings and select Social Channels. Click Connect next to the icon of the social channel you wish to connect to and follow the prompts.
Once you connect your channels to Zoho Social, you will be able to manage these channels directly from Zoho Social. The following table lists out the features that are available on each channel supported by Zoho Social.

Note - Features like Pause/Resume, Publishing Calendar, Collaborate, and URL shorteners only vary based on the plan you're on, and typically cover all social channels.
Reconnecting Social Channels
For security reasons, the social channels connected with Zoho Social might require reconnecting from time to time. For Facebook Pages and LinkedIn Pages & Profiles, this occurs every 60 days. You'll receive an email from Zoho Social requesting that you re-authorize your accounts. You'll also see in-app prompts to guide you through the process.
If you change the password for any connected social channel, you'll need to reauthenticate it on Zoho Social.
Follow these steps to reconnect any social channel:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Social Channels.
- Find the account you need to reconnect.
- Click Reconnect and follow the prompts to re-authorize your account.
Revoking Access and Removing Social Channels
You can revoke Zoho Social's access to your social channels (Pages and Profiles) at any time.
Revoking Zoho Social's access to a Facebook Page:
- Log in to Facebook and go to Settings.
- Click Apps and choose App Settings. You'll see a list of applications that have access to your page.
- Hover over Zoho Social and click the X icon to remove Zoho Social.
Revoking Zoho Social's access to a LinkedIn Company Page:
- Sign in to LinkedIn and go to Settings.
- Click Third Parties and choose Third Party Apps.
- Click Remove to revoke Zoho Social's access.
Revoking Zoho Social's access to a LinkedIn Profile:
- Sign in to LinkedIn Profile and go to Settings.
- Click Partners and Services under Accounts tab.
- Click Remove under the Zoho Social's icon to revoke access.
Revoking Zoho Social's access to a Twitter Profile:
- Sign in to Twitter and go to Settings.
- Click Apps to view the list of applications with access to your Twitter.
- Click Revoke Access.
Revoking Zoho Social's access to an Instagram Profile:
- Go to your Instagram profile on your mobile and click the ellipsis (...) in the upper-right corner.
- Click Edit Profile.
- Click Authorized Applications. A list of member-allowed applications will appear.
- Click Revoke access. You can also revoke access from the web app.
Revoking Zoho Social's access to a Google My Business listing:
- Sign in to Google+ and go to Settings.
- Under My Account, click on Sign-in and Security.
- Select Apps with Account Access -> Manage Apps.
- Click on Zoho Social and hit Remove Access.
- Click Ok on the pop-up that appears.
Removing Social Channels
Click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner, then click Social Channels to manage your channels. You can individually add or remove social channels from Zoho Social here.
Removing a particular channel won't delete the respective account on the Social Channel, it'll just disconnect it from Zoho Social.
Follow these steps to remove a connected social channel:
- Go to Settings and select Social Channel.
- Find the social channel you want to remove and click Disconnect.
Please note that, removing a social channel from a Brand also removes the scheduled content for that channel on Zoho Social. For instance, if you've scheduled a post for your LinkedIn Page and Twitter Profile but removed your LinkedIn Page, the post will only go live on your Twitter Profile.
