Create a Poll: (Web ShowTime/Plug-in/Mobile)

Create polls before the session


Web ShowTime Users

1. Click the Library icon in the left panel.
2. Click the Polls tab, then click Create Poll.
3. Choose a Poll Format- Multiple Choice, Text box or Rating.
4. The polls that you created will appear in the Polls library. To create another poll, click Create Poll.
5. Once you have created polls, you can use them during your session.

Plug-in Users

1. Plug-in users create/open a presentation in MS PowerPoint.
2. Click the Polls tab and then click Create Poll.
3. Choose a Poll Format- Multiple Choice, Text box or Rating.

Note: You can create polls before the session, and during the session with the ShowTime plug-in for MS PowerPoint.

Web ShowTime Users

1. Launch the face-to-face or remote session.
2. Click the Poll tab at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
3. Click Create Poll.
4. A pop-up will appear. Choose a Poll Format- Multiple Choice, Text box or Rating.

Mobile Users

1. Launch a face-to-face session.
2. Tap the Poll tab at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
3. A pop-up appears with Yet to conduct section and Conducted section.
4. Tap (+) to create a new poll question. Click Create Poll.
5. Choose a Poll Format- Multiple Choice, Text box or Rating. 



Multiple Choice

  1. Let your audience select among various pre-defined options.
  2. Enter a question.
  3. Enter the options for your audience to vote and click Create.
  4. By default, there are two answer options. You can choose to add additional options by clicking on the +Add Option button.
Textbox

Text boxes let your audience write free response answers. These questions can be used to collect open ended feedback.
  1. Enter a question.
  2. Choose the maximum number of characters(30 /60 /90 /120 /150 /300) for your audience can enter in the text box and click Create.
  3. By default, 300 characters will be selected, but you can change the limit by clicking on the drop-down and selecting a different number.
Rating
  1. Let your audience select a single rating for your question. These questions can be used to take a survey or get an item ranked.
  2. Enter a question.
  3. Choose the maximum number of stars(3 /5 /10) for your audience to use for rating.
  4. Choose a label to explain the value(e.g. Agree & Disagree) and click Create.
By default, a 5-star rating scale will be selected, but you can change the rating by clicking on the drop-down and selecting a different number.

Note: All the Polls that you create will be added to the library.
