Create and Present a Custom Slideshow

Create multiple(smaller) versions of a presentation with Custom Shows, by selecting only particular slides instead of the entire slide deck. For instance, say you have a huge presentation to deliver to the board members of your company, and the following week you have to present portions of the presentation to different departments, such as sales, HR, and product heads. Instead of copying and pasting to create several individual presentations, or deleting unwanted slides from the original presentation, create custom slide shows the quicker and easier way by picking slides for each audience. Thus, Custom Slide Show as the name represents are the Slide Show customized by the use to contain only the slides you want to present by ignoring or hiding the others while still keeping it in main your presentation.

Create a New Custom Show

Create your own slideshow by picking specific slides from the main presentation and grouping them to create a new version of the presentation for a particular audience. 
 
To create a new custom show,
1. Click the Setting  and then Custom Slideshow on the top bar.


 
2. Enter a name in the Untitled Slideshow text box and choose your desired slides for the custom show.
  • To select a single slide, go to the left pane, hover over the slide you want to pick and click the Plus icon .
  • To select multiple slides, go to the left pane, press and hold the Ctrl key, and click the Plus icon  on all the slides that you want to add to the selection. 

3. Preview and arrange your custom show. You will see the selected slides in the right pane in the order you added them.
You can rearrange, duplicate, or delete the Custom Show in the window at the right.

Manage a Custom Slideshow

Modify and manage all of your Custom Shows from one place, the Custom Slideshow area. You can easily edit, duplicate, and delete slides from here.
 
To manage a custom show,
1. Click the Setting  and then Custom Slideshow on the top bar. 

2. Click  list to choose your custom show.  



3. Now, click More  at the bottom right to do any of the following in the Manage Custom Slideshow window:
  • Click plus  to create more new Custom Shows.    
  • Add slides - Add more slides to a Custom Show you've already created. Select your Custom Show from the list, hover over a slide, and click the Plus icon . This will add the slide to your Custom Show window at the right.       
  • Rearrange slides - Move your slides forward or backward in the presentation by dragging and dropping them within the Custom Show window.
  • Duplicate a Custom Show - To create similar presentations where only a few slides differ, click the Duplicate icon  to create an editable duplicate of the selected Custom Show.
  • Delete a custom show - Click the Delete icon  to remove an existing Custom Show. 
           
          

Play a Custom Show

After creating a custom show, you can see it in full screen with the Slideshow View. When you deliver your talk, you can use advanced presentation delivery tools such as a pen, laser pointer, zoom, or navigation arrows to emphasize important points on the slide.
 
To play a custom show,
  • Click the PLAY  dropdown located on the top bar and select the Custom Show you want from the list. Your presentation will automatically open in Slideshow View. Or, select PLAY  in the Custom Show window.
             

End a Custom Show

Exit your slideshow at any time by clicking the Exit button in the bottom-left corner of the screen or pressing Esc on your keyboard.
