Copy-paste and link to presentations from one page to another
Confluence offers the ability to move and copy presentations within pages in an existing space, or even to a different space. Choose to copy presentations as an entirely new file within a page or keep them linked to their original file, preserving all slide and formatting properties. Duplicating and linking to the source file might come handy when your team wants to reuse (making minor updates) those hard worked sales reports, workflow diagrams and projects models across different Confluence pages, such as knowledge base, blog, and wiki page, with ease. This further saves time and effort in recreating or designing slides from scratch.
To copy-paste presentations from one confluence page to another,
1. Open the Confluence editor, select your Zoho Show presentation to copy and press Ctrl+C or Cmd+C.
2. Paste the presentation into the desired confluence page.
3. Double-click on the copied presentation to view and edit your slides.
From the window, you can either choose to duplicate or stay linked to the original presentation as follows:
- Click Duplicate to make a new copy of the original presentation, with its content linked only to this page. Any change made in the original file will not reflect here, and vice versa.
Click Stay linked to open a copy of the presentation that will stay linked with the original (source) presentation. Any changes made in the original presentation will reflect in all the attached Confluence pages and vice-versa.
You can unlink a presentation anytime inside the Zoho Show editor by clicking the Link icon next to the presentation title in the top-left corner and choosing Duplicate.
4. Finally, click Continue.
This will open the Zoho Show's editor to edit, design, and customize slides.
