Custom Modules and Fields

Besides Layouts (Setup > Customization > Layouts) that allow you to add predefined fields to a module and customise it as per your needs, you can also create custom modules and add custom fields.

To create a new module:
  1. Log in to Zoho FSM.
  2. Navigate to Setup > Customization > Modules and Fields and click New Module.
  3. Enter the module name and click Done.



  4. From the New Fields tray, drag and drop the fields you want. You can also drag and drop a new section, provide a name for the section and add fields to the section.



    You can view the options available for modifying the properties of a field by clicking on the more options [] icon for a field.

  5. Click the settings icon [] and select Module Permission. In the Module Permission pop-up, select the profiles you want to give the access to and click Save.



  6. Click Save to create the module.
Once created, changes can be made to a module. You can, among other things, rename the module and fields, add and edit field and field properties. To edit a module:
  1. Log in to Zoho FSM.
  2. Navigate to Setup > Customization > Modules and Fields.
  3. Click the name of the module you want to customize and select the layout (if present) within it.
  4. Make the necessary changes and click Save.
