A complete backup of your organization’s data can be obtained using Data Backup . This helps you maintain a personal copy of the organization’s information.
To take a backup of your data:
- Navigate to your Profile in the upper-right corner of the page and select Organization Setup.
- Select Data Backup from the left panel.
- Click Export Now.
- Provide your confirmation to protect the file with a password as it may hold PII information.
- Enter the password.
A scheduler will be triggered once the data backup request is received, and might take a few minutes to complete.
- Once the process is accomplished, an email will be sent along with a link to download the exported data as a ZIP file.
- This link will expire after 7 days and the exported ZIP file gets deleted.
