Dispatch Console Map

The Map view displays the exact location of field technicians and the service address for the appointments. To see the Map view, navigate to the Dispatch Console module and click Maps tab.


Choose which field technicians are shown 

You can view the current location of the field technicians on the map using one of the below filters:
  1. Territory
  2. Service Resource
 

Choose what information is shown 

You can select one of the below filters to view different datasets for the appointments:
  1. Show User location: shows the location of the field agents
  2. Show Appointments: shows the service address location of the service appointments displayed in the service appointment List
  3. Show Scheduled Appointments: shows the service address location of the service appointments displayed in the Gantt area



  4. Date filter: All the scheduled service appointments for the date selected in the date filter (highlighted in red) will be displayed at the bottom of the map. Clicking on a service appointment will highlight its location in the map (as indicated by the green indicator).



  5. Service Resources filter: On selecting a field technician from the filter, the details of the service appointments assigned to it will be displayed on the right side of the map and also the location of all the service appointments will be highlighted in the map. The  symbol next to the field technician indicates that the location for the field technician is unknown.
    The field technicians can be filtered based on the territory.

All the service appointments listed in the left pane will be shown by an orange indicator [] whereas the service appointments listed in the bottom pane will be shown by a green indicator []. The field technician live location will be indicated by this icon -
