Introduction
Some of the best hires come from referrals. Zoho Recruit's Employee Referrals makes it easy for employees to submit referrals and for hiring managers to track and manage referrals. Employees can easily submit referrals for specific jobs and, from the Referrals module, monitor the progress of each referral through the hiring process.
Availability:
Available for all paid plans of the Corporate version of Zoho Recruit.
To submit referrals
- Go to the Referrals module. For the first time, click the Refer a Candidate button to start referring candidates.
- Upload a resume and all the information will be parsed into the fields. There is also an option to type the candidate's information manually.
- Once all the info is entered, click Submit Referral.
- You will then be shown a pop-up asking you to confirm your referral.
- Click on "Yes, Add this referral" to submit your referral.
To track the referral's status
Once candidates are referred, employees can track their referrals and keep themselves updated on the hiring process by just going into the Referrals module.
The My Referrals section will contain details like:
- Name of the person referred
- Job and status: This is the assigned job posting and the status of the job opening.
- Recruiter: The person who is carrying out the hiring process.
- Stage in which the candidate is present.
To view the referral history
Once the candidate has been referred, users who have the view permissions for the candidate record can view the Referral History of the candidate.
In order to view the referral history,
- Go to the referred candidate's detail page and click on the Referral History icon.
- You will now be able to see all the details associated with the referral.
