epics? Epic progress report helps you track the progress of an epic based on its associated sprints. Using this report you can choose a particular epic and track the number of open and closed work items in the sprints that are associated with it. This can help in monitoring the status of work items associated with the epic across backlog and sprints.
- Epic progress report by points - Track the open and closed points associated with the epic.
- Epic progress report by count - Track the open and closed work items associated with the epic.
How to read the chart
Epic progress report shows the progress of the sprints and backlog that are associated with the epic. You can view this chart either based on the work items or estimation points.
- X axis represents the backlog or sprints that are associated with the epic.
- Y axis represents the total work items or estimation points.
Here, we have selected the 'Design and Code Review' epic. You can view the associated sprints and backlog in the X-axis. The progress is depicted in the Y-axis using vertical bars.
- Blue - Represents the work items or points in the backlog or sprint that are in the open status.
- Orange - Represents the work items or points in the backlog or sprint that are in the closed status.
As you scroll down, you can view the table that shows the associated sprint or backlog and the count of work items or points in the open and closed status. You can select a particular work item to view its
details page.
