Form templates in the Library module allow you to save the sign-up forms you've designed for future use. This means you don't have to create a new sign-up form every time you want to send one out, but can use the ones that you've saved in the Library.
There are two types of sign-up forms: Compact and Long. There are two tabs for sign-up forms in the Library. When you save your sign-up forms, they will be automatically separated into compact and long forms.
To perform different operations related to signup form templates, you should have the corresponding privileges in the Library module.
There are two ways to save your signup form to the Library. Once you're done designing your signup form,
- From the Navigation toolbar, choose Lead gen and select Lead sources.
2. Click the signup form you would like to add to the library.
3. Click More.
4. Select Save to library from the dropdown menu.
Your signup form will be saved under the Form template section of the library.
Apart from just saving your signup forms, you can also create them from the Library:
- From the Navigation toolbar, choose Library and select Form templates.
2. Click Create form template.
3. Select the type of signup form you would like to create from compact-vertical, compact-horizontal and long forms.
4. Choose the signup form layout and click Use template.
5. Edit the signup form, then click Save and proceed.
6. Make any changes you need in the Response page and click Save and proceed.
When you mouse over the thumbnail of a template stored in the library, you can see the following icons:
- Preview - Display a preview of the signup form template.
- View details - Display the details of the signup form template.
- Edit - Edit the signup form template.
- Clone - Clone the signup form template.
- Delete - Delete the signup form template.
