Creating categories
The network admin and org admins can create categories.
To do this:
- Click Forums in the left navigation pane.
- In the bottom left, click the + New Category button.
- Add the category title.
- For important categories, admins can check the Show in everyone's feed option.
- When this option is checked, posts made in the specific category will appear on the My Feed page of all network members.
- Click Create.
Editing category name and settings
As an admin, you can edit the category title and also, decide if posts in specific categories can appear in everyone's My Feed page.
- Click Forums in the left navigation pane.
- Click the preferred category.
- In the top-left part, click the Edit button.
- You can edit the category title and also, check or uncheck the Show in everyone's feed option.
Following a category
When you follow a category, posts from the category will automatically appear in your My feed page.
- Click Forums in the left navigation pane.
- Hover your mouse above category name in a discussion.
- In the small pop-out card, click Follow.
- Or you could click on a category to see all the discussions in that category and click Follow in the top-left, next to the category name.
