How are open rates measured?

Every time an email campaign is sent, a hidden one pixel image is placed in the body of the email. This is known as a web beacon or tracking pixel. For your recipient's email program to load that image, it must contact your email marketing software. When this happens, Zoho MarketingHub records an open for that email recipient.
