How can I create a relationship between two forms?

Yes it is possible to establish a parent child relationship between two forms in Zoho Creator. To do so, a field from the parent form has to be included in the child form.The steps to create a relationship between 2 forms is as follows:

  • Click on "Edit this application" and navigate to the appropriate from. [In this case the child form]
  • From the left pane, listing all supported field types in Zoho Creator, drag and drop the field "LookUp" into the desired position.
  • In the pop up that appears, you can specify the name you'd like to give for the field in the child form. This may or maynot be same as the parent form field name.
  • You can import a field from a Form either in the same application or from a From from any other application created under your account.
  • You can also set a criteria to be matched by the records that will be imported from the parent form.
  • Click "Done" to save.
