How do I delete or remove the primary domain name from a website?

It is not possible to remove or delete a primary domain name. You can convert the primary domain to secondary and then delete the secondary domain. 

To do this:

 

  1. Click Settings at the top of your builder.
  2. Click Domains below the Configure section.
  3. Click Add Domain in the top-right corner.
  4. You can either buy another domain or map to another existing domain.
  5. Set this domain as the primary. This will automatically make the domain that you would like to delete secondary.
  6. Click the Delete icon .
  7. Click Yes, Delete It and the domain will be deleted.
