How do I import Notes, Tasks, Events or Calls and associate them to other records?

You can import Notes, Tasks, Events, and Calls using the Migrate Data from other CRM feature. While importing, you may have to associate the imported notes, tasks, events or calls with other records in CRM. To do this, you need to have the Related IDs of those records to which you want to associate them. Related ID is a unique ID for all records in Zoho CRM. If you export the records from Zoho CRM, you can get the IDs of all the individual records and use them.

For instance, you want to import notes that are related to some leads. In that case, follow these steps:
  • Export the leads to get their Related IDs.  Learn how to export data.
  • Include the Related IDs of the leads in your import file to associate the notes with the leads.
