How do I make sure that respondents don't give the same ranking to multiple options?
If you think a respondent will follow a pattern and choose the same ranking for multiple variables in a matrix (one answer) question, enable the forced ranking option. This prevents your respondent from choosing the same ranking for more than one variable.
To set up forced ranking:
- Click Matrix Choice (One Answer) question.
- Click Advanced options.
- Select Force ranking (One response per column).
Click Save.
