How do I update bounced contacts in Zoho CRM?

You can delete the (hard) bounced contacts by creating a custom view for bounced contacts in Zoho CRM and performing a mass delete.

You can also use Push Member Status as Fields in Zoho CRM feature to update the email campaign-related statuses such as OpensClicks or Bounce status of every contact or lead in your Zoho CRM account. Later, you can create a custom view to delete or perform any other operation based on campaign status.  

     To enable this option: 

  1. Click  Sync  and click on your sync.

  2. Click View Details present in Campaigns to CRM Settings. 
  3. Enable Push Member Status as Fields in Zoho CRM and choose the CRM text area field to which the status needs to be updated for leads/contacts.  

     To create a view in Zoho CRM based on the updated field:

  1. Log in to Zoho CRM.
  2. Go to either the Contacts or Leads module in CRM.
  3. From the All Contacts page, select Create View.
  4. Give a name to the view.
  5. Choose the Field (text area field) containing Campaign Status.
  6. Specify the Criteria as Bounced Status.

     For example: If the selected field is "Description", your Criteria should be  "Description contains Bounced".

      7. When you have specified the criteria, select all the contacts/leads filtered through this view and then mass delete.
