How do you allow a respondent to mark a question as 'Not Applicable'?

If you want to add a Not Applicable field for those who would not find the right answer choice in the options provided, you can select the Add 'Not applicable' option checkbox. When a respondent chooses this option, this response will be excluded while calculating the data statistics for that particular question. For example, it will not be taken into consideration while calculating the mean, frequency, and standard deviation and so on.

To mark a question as 'Not Applicable':

  1. Click the question you want to mark as 'Not Applicable'.
  2. Select the Add 'Not applicable' option checkbox.
  3. If you want to edit the field label, type the name you want to use in the Option label field.
  4. Click Save.
