How to activate the Personal Edition of Zoho Analytics Onpremise?

I have installed Zoho Analytics and I don't see an option to activate Personal Edition. How do I get a personal Edition of Zoho Analytics?

Zoho Analytics now has a download setup where you will be on the Professional Edition for the first 30 days. After this period, you can downgrade to Personal Edition(free) or request for a trial extension. Simply, one download for all editions.

What happens during the downgrade?

1. Non-admin users will be automatically deactivated. Only the admin will remain as a user.

2. If the count of workspaces exceeds 5 or the total no of rows exceeds 25,000, those workspaces will be moved to trash. You can retrieve those workspaces within the limits of the personal edition from the trash management.


Here is a comparison to know the personal edition limitation.

3. All the scheduled imports, email schedules and shared reports will be deactivated.

Well, if you would like to restore a workspace with 25,000 rows or more than that, you can import the tables into the workspace without data(i.e) just the schema of the table so that you can reuse the associated reports once you import less no of rows into the table.

How to downgrade?

Once your trial period is expired, you get an option to downgrade as shown in the image below.

Click on "Downgrade to Personal Edition" to activate Personal Edition.



So what happens when you upgrade to Professional Edition from Personal Edition?


The workspaces will be automatically restored once you apply the Professional license. Sharing, scheduled imports/emails features will be automatically activated.
