How to unpublish a Manual/Article?

Overview

Unpublish a Manual when you'd like to keep it temporarily unavailable to the users following it, instead of deleting it. You also have the option to unpublish specific Articles in the Manual. However, Contributors and Members will be able to access the Manual even if it is unpublished. 

Who can unpublish a Manual/Article? 

Only the admins of a Manual can unpublish a Manual. The Articles in a Manual can be unpublished by Article owner, Manual admins and Contributors of the Manual.

How to unpublish a Manual?

  1. Click Manuals from the Menu in the left.
  2. Open a published Manual.
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) in the top-right corner of the page.
  4. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
            
  1. In the pop-out, move to the Advanced tab.
  2. Navigate to the 'Publish this Manual' option and click Unpublish.

            

How to unpublish an Article?

  1. Click Manual from the menu in left.
  2. Open the required Article.
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) in the right side of the Article.
  4. From the dropdown, click Unpublish.   
   
        

Who can access the unpublished content?

  1. Unpublished Manuals can be still accessed by Manual Admin, its Members, and Contributors.
  2. Unpublished articles can be still accessed by Article owner, Admins, and Contributors of the Manual.

The option to Unpublish a Manual/Article is available only in the Enterprise plan.
