I am an existing customer of Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk with 20 unique users in each of these applications. What will happen if I end up purchasing only 20 CRM Plus user licenses?

In this case, you have 40 unique users (20 for CRM and 20 for Desk) and 20 user licenses. We will keep all 40 user accounts active for 24 hours. After 24 hours, the system will automatically deactivate the 20 user licenses you've purchased (giving preference to Admins and users based on the time their accounts were created.) 

You can activate additional users by purchasing 20 more user licenses. If you want to avoid the automatic deactivation of users, manually deactivate the remaining 20 users within 24 hours from the time of purchase.
