I have my own domain that I registered with another vendor. Can I use it with Zoho Sites?

Yes, domains purchased through other vendors can be used with Zoho Sites. If you are using a free site, you will need to subscribe to one of our paid plans. Then verify ownership of your domain. 

 

To do this:

  1. Log into the domain vendor's portal and, using the domain forwarding option, forward the root domain name, e.g., example.com to www.example.com (with the www).
  2. Create a CNAME Record with host name www and point it to zhs.zohosites.com.

 

To add your own domain to your Zoho website:

  1. Click Settings at the top of your builder.
  2. Click Domains below the Configure section. 
  3. Click Add Domain in the top-right corner.
  4. Enter your domain name in the Already own a domain box.
  5. Click Continue and the on-screen instructions will walk you through the procedure.
