How to import work items?
Click
in the upper-right corner.
Select Import.
You can download sample files at the bottom of this article.
Zoho Sprints only supports XLS, CSV, XLSX, and JSON files.
There are four mandatory fields to fill in before you import. Download the sample files here:
Import work items
Choose the file to import.
Select the Target to import to the backlog or a sprint.
Select the File Type.
Click Import. A popup will appear with detailed information about your selected file type.
Click Got it.
Field Mapping
Using this option to map the fields in your file to their corresponding fields in Sprints.
Map the fields accordingly and click Continue . The Item name column is mandatory.
Check the fields are correctly mapped and click Confirm .
Default fields and the None field are mapped to default values.
The maximum import limit is 1000. If your file exceeds this limit, all the remaining items in the file will be moved to the backlog.
The "Item ID" is the ID of the work item. A work item can have multiple levels of subitems. The "Parent ID" is used to map the relevant subitems to the main item.
User Mapping
Use this option to map users in your file to the corresponding users in your project. You can either leave the work items unassigned or assign them to specific users in your project. Once the fields are assigned, click Continue.
Estimation Points Mapping
The estimation points mapping step is available if you have mapped the estimation points field.
You can leave points unassigned or map them to the estimation points in your project.
You will receive an email once the import is successful.
