Importing leads from OneDrive

Zoho MarketingHub lets you to import contacts from different cloud storage services. You can import contacts stored in OneDrive as leads in Zoho MarketingHub.

The file to be imported should meet the following requirements,   
  • It should be in either Excel or CSV format. Text files are not supported.
  • It should have an email address field.

Steps to import

1. From the Navigation toolbar, choose Leads and then All Leads.  

2.Click on Import button.

3. Hover over OneDrive and click on Import button.


4. Choose a mailing list and the file from which you need to import leads.


5. Click Import.


6.Fields from file are pre-mapped with MarketingHub fields. You can change a mapped MarketingHub field by clicking on the MarketingHub Fields drop down.

7.Click Import.


Import process

File import process takes place in five steps,

  1. File read - Selected file is scanned before commencing import.
  2. Invalid patterns - Subscriber detail without an email address or with an invalid email address ( For example, "johndoe.yahoo.com", " julia@gnail.com ", "darren@outlookcom") are ignored.
  3. Unsupported emails - Group email addresses( hr@zylker.com , admin@zylker.com ) are ignored.
  4. File duplicates - Already imported leads are ignored to avoid duplication.
  5. New and duplicates - New leads' details are imported into the mailing list.

Import result

Upon importing the file, Import Result is generated which displays the detailed report of the import.

You can view file name, import status and, the number of newly added, re-added, duplicate and ignored leads. You can click on the Import history link to view previous import details.
