Install Zoho Sprints for iPad

Zoho Sprints is now available in your iPad. Manage your projects and sprints right from a tap. 

Features

Install Zoho Sprints

You can either install it from your App Store or iTunes.

If you are downloading from the App Store:
  1. Select App Store from your device.
  2. Search for Sprints - Agile Projects.
  3. Tap Install and the app will be installed automatically.
If you are downloading from iTunes:
  1. Tap open the iTunes from your device.
  2. If you do not have iTunes installed, you can do it right here.
  3. Search for Zoho Sprints in your iTunes.
  4. Synchronize the app to your iPhone from your system.

Sign in to Zoho Sprints

  1. Tap the Sprints app from your iPad.
  2. Tap Sign In.
  3. Type your Email Address and Password.
  4. After the warming up, you will be redirected to your team.

Select projects

  1. Tap the other actions icon in the upper-left corner.
  2. Select a project from the list to view it.

Manage your profile

  1. Tap the other actions icon in the upper-left corner.
  2. Tap the team name and select a team from the available teams.
  3. Tap the Users to view all the team users.
  4. Tap the project that you want to access from the Projects section.
  5. Tap Edit and hit your favorite projects. It will be automatically moved to your favorite projects.

Feed

Collaborate with your team members and get instant updates on the progress of your project in your feed. 

Settings

  1. Tap the other actions icon in the upper-left corner.
  2. Hit Settings at the bottom end.
  3. Choose your Team NameProjects List View ByTheme.
You can get all the actions done by tapping the required modules from the bottom tray as shown in the image below.

Add work items

  1. Tap Backlog from the bottom tray.
  2. Tap in the upper-right corner.
  3. Tap Add Item.
  4. Type the required item details in the form.
  5. Tap Save.


Add subitems

  1. Tap Sprints or Backlog from the bottom tray.
  2. Tap a particular work item.
  3. Tap right next to the Subitems.
  4. Type the details in the Add Subitem form.
  5. Hit Save.

Add comments for items

  1. Tap Sprints or Backlog from the bottom tray.
  2. Tap a particular work item.
  3. Tap right next to the Comments.
  4. Type the comment, if you want you can @ mention any assignees.
  5. Hit Done.
Tap the item and hit Edit or Delete to edit and delete the posted comment. 

View item details

  1. Tap a particular item from your backlog.
  2. Tap the other actions at the right corner to view the item details.


Edit item

  1. Tap a particular item from your backlog or sprint.
  2. Tap Edit icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. Modify the details.
  4. Tap Save.

Delete item

  1. Tap a particular item from your backlog or sprint.
  2. Tap Delete icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. Tap Delete.

Search for items

  1. Tap the Backlog or Sprint from the bottom tray.
  2. Tap the search icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. Type the item Id or name.

Add sprints

  1. Tap Sprints from the bottom tray.
  2. Tap in the upper-right corner.
  3. Tap Add Sprint.
  4. Type the required sprint details in the form.
  5. Tap Save.

Move items from backlog to sprint

  1. Tap Backlog from the bottom tray.
  2. Long press on the item that you want to move to the sprint.
  3. Tap Move in the upper-right corner.
  4. Select a sprint from the list.

Start sprint

  1. Tap Sprints from the bottom tray.
  2. Tap the drop-down and select a sprint from the list.
  3. Tap the other actions icon right next to the sprint name. You will see the total estimation points, start and end dates of the sprint, and the respective project that it belongs to.
  4. Tap Start Sprint.
Once the sprint is started, you can next jump to the Board for the actual work. 

Move items across statuses

  1. Tap Board from the bottom tray.
  2. Select an active sprint from the drop-down.
  3. Tap and hold the particular item and drag to the left and right to place it in the required status.
  4. Tap the expand and collapse icon at the bottom right end.

Complete sprint

  1. Tap Board from the bottom tray.
  2. Select an active sprint from the drop-down.
  3. Tap Other Actions icon right next to the sprint name.
  4. Tap Complete Sprint.

View project users

  1. Tap Users in the bottom tray.
  2. View all the users in your project.
  3. Tap the search icon in the upper-right corner.
  4. Type a username and search.

Reports

The app supports the three charts: Velocity chartBurndown chart, and Burnup chart.

  • Velocity chart is visible only for the closed sprints and using this chart you can calculate the committed and completed estimation points to determine the average velocity of your project.
  • Burndown chart is used to track the pending estimation points on a daily basis.
  • Burnup chart is used to track the completed estimation points on a daily basis.

Tap Reports and view all the charts in your project. Hit the chart and select a sprint from the drop-down. 

Send feedback from app

  1. Tap the other actions icon in the upper-left corner.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Tap Feedback.
  4. Type your feedback and tap Done.

Sign out from app

  1. Tap the other actions icon in the upper-left corner.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Tap the switch off icon right next to your profile.
  4. Tap Yes.
