Import languages to the microsite

Communicate with a wider audience by adding other languages in your event's microsite. By default, the language you set for your Zoho account is the language that your microsite will be in. This is called the source language. Importing multiple languages lets visitors conveniently switch to a language that they are comfortable with for a smooth user experience.

  1. Click the Design tab in the Microsite Builder.
  2. Click the Language tab on the left pane.
  3. Expand the Add Language section and select a language name from the Select Language dropdown.
  4. Click the Add and Export button. The following will take place:
    • The language you picked from the Select Language dropdown will be added as an option in the Other Language section.
    • The new language will be added to the microsite design as an option in the menu on the navigation bar.
    • A spreadsheet with all the content in the microsite will be exported to your system. This spreadsheet will include reference keys for each field.
  5. Open the exported spreadsheet and translate all the fields that are given in the source language. Enter the translated content in the Translating to column.
Note: Fields that are not translated will remain in the source language when the microsite is viewed in the new language.
  6. Save the spreadsheet and import it back into Zoho Backstage.
