Note Type

Add note types

Notes provide a space to make a record of information or comments related to a particular record. Note type refers to the classification of the notes based on the particular module or related section.

Note: By default, Recruiter and Admin have permission to create and edit a note type. But only Admin has the permission to delete a note type.

To add note type:

  1. Click Setup > Customization > Note Type.
  2. In the List of Note type page, click Add.
    Note Type window is displayed. 
  3. Enter the Type Name in the corresponding text box. You can add multiple note types at one go. 
  4. Click Add. The new note type details are displayed in the List of Note type page.
To Edit note types
  • Click the Edit link under Action section. Note Type window is displayed with the current note type title.
  • Enter the new title in the Type Name text box and click Save.
To Delete note types
  • Click the Delete link under the Action section of the particular note type.
  • Click OK. The note type will be deleted.
