Other actions in Blueprints

Edit blueprint

  1. Navigate to   and select Automation  from the left panel.
  2. Select the blueprint that you wish to edit from the list of available blueprints.
  3. Make the necessary modifications and click Publish .

Filter blueprints using layouts

  1. Navigate to   and select  Automation  from the left panel.
  2. Click   next to  All Layouts 
  3. Select a layout to view all your blueprints available in it.



Reorder blueprints

Reordering helps users to prioritize blueprints. Once your blueprints are filtered based on layouts, you are all set to reorder them according to your preference. 
  1. Navigate to   and select  Automation from the left panel.
  2. Click   icon to the left of  Blueprint Name.
  3. Drag and drop your blueprints to order them according to your priority. 
  4. Click  Save .



  • You can sort blueprints only after they are filtered according to layouts. 
  • The order of the blueprints will decide its priority, when being mapped with jobs. 

Clone blueprint

  1. Navigate to   and select  Automation from the left panel.
  2. Hover over the blueprint name and select .
  3. Click  Clone from the pop-up.
    • Layout  : The layout of your current blueprint will be displayed. This field is constant and cannot be changed.
    • Name : Enter a name for your blueprint. We provide a default name but you can choose to modify it.
    • Description : Provide an optional description.
    • Criteria : The criteria of the blueprint you cloned will be displayed here. You can modify it to suit your requirements. 



Deactivate blueprint

  1. Navigate to   and select  Automation from the left panel.
  2. Toggle the button to the right of your blueprint name to deactivate the corresponding blueprint. Toggle the button again to activate it.



  • You can only enable published blueprints. 
  • When a blueprint is deactivated, the new jobs created will no longer be mapped to this blueprint.  
  • However, the existing jobs will continue to work in this blueprint.

Delete blueprint

Blueprints that are not mapped with any jobs can be deleted instantly. However, when a blueprint mapped to one or more job is deleted, the associated jobs will also be removed along with the blueprint. 

To retain your jobs while deleting blueprints, we provide you the option of moving these jobs to another blueprint under the same layout. 

Delete blueprint unassociated with jobs

  1. Navigate to   and select  Automation from the left panel.
  2. Hover over the blueprint you want to delete to view   icon.
  3. Click the icon and select  Delete  from the ensuing pop-up.
  4. Confirm your action.  

Delete blueprint associated with jobs

  1. Navigate to   and select  Automation from the left panel.
  2. Hover over the blueprint you want to delete to view the   icon.
  3. Click the icon and select  Delete from the ensuing pop-up.
  4. You will be provided with an option to retain the jobs available under this blueprint by moving these jobs and their stages to another blueprint available under the same layout. If no blueprints are available under this layout, you can shift your jobs to the default blueprint called  Common   Blueprint .
    • Select a blueprint to move the jobs. You can view all the stages from the blueprint to be deleted in the left column. The right column lists the stages from the selected blueprint to which the jobs are to be moved. Map both the stages.
    • Click  Move .

If you wish to delete the blueprint along with the jobs, click  Delete blueprint along with jobs and confirm your action.
