Radius Search
Radius search lets you search candidate records by location. Find better and relevant candidates who match your job role. In the Candidates list page, Radius Search allows users to search for candidates within a specific distance of a zip or postal code. For example, you can search for "All Candidates within 25 miles of zip code 77385" by entering the criteria in the Candidate Filter section.
Steps to apply Radius Search:
In Filter candidates
- Go to the Candidates module.
- In the Filter Candidates By sidebar, select Located within. Enter the radius along with the zip code.
- Click Apply Filter.
When you click Apply Filter, the system will return all candidates in the database who match the search condition. You can also combine the radius search with other conditions.
In Refine Match
Using radius search when you're refining your candidate matches with a job opening can result in better matches.
- Go to the Job Openings module and open a Job.
- Click on the Actions button and select Find Matching Candidates from the drop-down list.
- In the results page click on the Refine Match button.
- Apart from the various search criteria (keywords,skills, etc.) you can refine candidates based on their location. Entering a country's name, zip code and mile radius will localize your candidate search.
In Advanced Search
Radius Search can be applied when you're using Advanced Search, enter the mile radius and the city/zip code and click Search.
