Remote access in online meetings
Remote access enables participants of an online meeting to interact with the presenter's screen, and collaborate on documents and presentations. The presenter can either give control to the participant, or the participants can request control during screen sharing.
Give control (For Presenters)
1. Enter your meeting window and start sharing your screen.
2. Click Give Control in the left pane, then enable it for the participant.
Request control (For participants)
In your live meeting window, click Request control on the left pane. A request will be shown on your presenter's screen.
They can accept or deny your request for remote access. If the presenter accepts your request, you can control the presenter's screen using your keyboard and mouse.
Note
- To use this feature, the presenter must be using the Zoho Meeting desktop app, and must be sharing their entire screen instead of selected application windows.
- Remote access is available only on Windows and Macintosh.
- Mobile device users will not be able to use this feature.
- Only one participant can use remote access at a time. If the presenter gives control to a second participant, remote accessibility will move from the first participant to the second.
