The resume formats followed by recruiters are different across organizations and regions. Resume Parser Mapping feature helps you standardize and align the parsed resume structure to the form supported by your organization. It allows you to map the Zoho Recruit fields with the respective fields in the parsed resume. Recruiters need not spend a lot of time and energy in manually segregating resumes of various file formats. Resume Parser does the job in a split second.
To configure field mapping:
Click Setup > Resume Management > Resume parser mapping.
The
Resume Parser Mapping page is displayed.
- Map the Zoho Recruit Fields to the appropriate Import Fields.
Toggle the Parsing Review option if you wish to review candidate information you parse.
For example, let's assume you've enabled the Parsing Review option and you're adding candidate records using the Paste The Resume feature.
You will now have options such as duplicate detection and record source available to you in addition to the option that lets you associate the candidate record with a job opening of your choice.
Once you've configured all the other options and done with the parsing, you'll be able to review the parsed details and also get to know the parsing accuracy. Click Update.
Note:
- The Zoho Recruit fields mapped using Resume Parser Mapping feature will be valid while parsing resume through different sources like Resume Inbox, Outlook, Job boards etc.
- The attach resume field is not provided with the Resume Parser Mapping feature to prevent the user from accidentally deleting the field and resulting in data loss. Attachment fields like a resume, cover letter etc. can be configured in the Attachment Category page, under Customization.
- Upon parsing the resume, you are allowed to customize the resume format type. You can select the resume format type in the Import from Document page under Candidate module.
