Send Follow-up Campaigns

Send Follow-up Campaigns

Chain Campaign

A chain campaign allows you to retarget the recipients of previously sent campaigns, based on their opens or unopens. Chain campaigns are not restricted to just one follow-up campaign, you can create as many campaigns as you want, in order to achieve the desired results.

Campaigns that have had chain campaigns created for them will be denoted by a chain symbol. Clicking on this symbol will display all the chain campaigns created for that particular campaign.

Child Campaign

A child campaign allows you to send a new email campaign to your recipients based on their actions in the parent campaign. Child campaigns are not sent as a sequence of emails like chain campaigns, but instead as a single email. You can also create a child for a child campaign. A child campaign is always denoted by a follow-up symbol.
Depending upon the recipients' actions, child campaigns can be classified into three categories:
  1. For Opened Recipients:  This sends an email campaign based on the parent opens.
  2. For Unopened Recipients:  This sends an email campaign based on the parent unopens.
  3. For Clicked Recipients:  This sends an email campaign based on clicks.
