Header
Add or change the logo and title in the survey header to give your survey a professional look.
How do I add a logo and title to my survey?
- Click Browse in the Header section of the Settings tab.
- Select an image:
- From image gallery: Drag and drop the image or click Drop image here to upload the image of your choice. Or select an image from the gallery.
- From URL: Type in or copy/paste the web link of the image in the Image URL box. The image should be in JPEG or PNG format with a resolution of 250px x 85px.
- Add a title to your survey:
- Use survey name: Use the survey name as the survey title.
- Use specific text: Add a new survey title.
Footer
As part of our branding, we include the Zoho logo in the footer of all free plan surveys. You can customize the footer only if you have a paid plan. Paid users can now add a logo, message, or a copyright notice and customize the footer to their preferences.
Customize
The Customize section enables you to show page progress bar, question numbers and previous button, enable CAPTCHA, personalize the navigation buttons' labels, and change the language of your survey's messages.

How do I show the page progress bar in my survey?
- Scroll down to the Customize section of the Settings tab.
- Select Show page progress bar to show respondents how much of the survey is left.
How do I show question numbers in my survey?
- Scroll down to the Customize section of the Settings tab.
- Select Show question numbers if you want your survey questions to be numbered.
How do I enable CAPTCHA in my survey?
- Scroll down to the Customize section of the Settings tab.
- Select Enable CAPTCHA (Prevents action by automated software) to protect your surveys from automated bots. CAPTCHA stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.
How do I show a previous button and allow respondents to go to previous pages?
- Scroll down to the Customize section of the Settings tab.
- Select Show previous button to allow your respondents to go back to previous pages of the survey at any time.
How do I customize the buttons in my survey?
- Scroll down to the Customize section of the Settings tab.
- Type new names in the Submit, Next, and Previousbutton fields to customize them.
How do I change the language of my survey's messages?

- Select a default language from the Language dropdown list.
Survey Disqualification Page
You can show a customized message to the respondents who have been disqualified from answering your survey. You can restrict them from accessing the question by applying a disqualification logic. Read more.
How do I customize the survey disqualification page?
- Scroll down to the Survey Disqualification Page section in the Settings tab.
- To show the respondents a customized message instead of the usual Thank You page, type the message in the Custom message box. You can also insert a variable to the survey close message.
- If you want your respondents to redirect them to a new page after submitting their response, select Redirect to a new page.
- Type in the URL of the page in the space provided. You can also add parameters to the redirect URL and mention parameters in the survey response.
- Click Add Parameter in the Dynamic Parameters section.
- Enter the parameter name.
- Set the parameter value.
- Click + to add more parameters.
- Click X to delete a parameter.
Survey End Page
The survey end page, or thank you page, is where respondents land after submitting their responses. You can add logic to send respondents to different end pages based on their responses. For example, set a scoring logic to customize the end page of a survey based on each respondent's score on each page. You can also display the survey scores on custom end pages. The customized survey end page will also be applied to your offline surveys.

How do I add logic for my survey end page?
- Scroll down to the Survey end page section of the Settings tab.
- Click Add Logic in the End page logic section.
- Select a question in the If list.
- Set a condition:
- Equal to
- Not equal to
- Contains
- Starts with
- Ends with
- If you select anything that has a numerical value in the If section, choose from the following conditions:
- Equal to
- Not equal to
- Less than
- Greater than
- In between
- In the Operand box provided, type in or choose the answer you're looking for.
- In the Then list, select what you want your respondents to see after submitting their response:
- Zoho Survey's Thank You page: Send respondents Zoho Survey's default Thank You page.
- Show summary of responses: Send your respondents to the Reports page, where they can see all the responses in a report format.
- Show the submitted response: Show respondents all of the responses they've submitted.
- Custom message: Show respondents a customized message instead of the usual Thank You page. Type the message in the text box that appears. You can also insert a variable to the survey close message.
- Redirect to a new page: Send respondents to a different page after they submit their responses. Type in the URL of the page in the space provided. You can also add parameters to the redirect URL and mention parameters in the survey response. To do so:

- Click to delete a logic option. You can add multiple logic options here and send your respondents to different pages based on their responses.
How do I show the survey scores on the end pages?
- Select Custom message from the Then list when setting up a termination logic option message.
- Edit the text and click Insert Variable.
- Select the appropriate variable from the Score section:
- Click Respondent's score (percentage) to send the percentage of the total score.
- Click Respondent's score (value) to send only the user's score.
- Click Survey total score to send the total score.
- Click Page> Respondent's score (percentage) to send the percentage of the total score on a particular page.
- Click Page> Respondent'sscore (value) to send only the user's score on a particular page.
- Click Page total score to send the total score for a particular page.
How do I change my survey's default end page?
- Scroll down to the Survey end page section of the Settings tab.
- In the Default end page section, select what you want your respondents to see after submitting their response:

Closed Survey Page
You can customize the message that the respondents see when they attempt to access a survey that you've closed.
How do I customize a closed survey page?
- Scroll down to the Closed Survey Page section in the Settings tab.
- Enter the message you'd like to show your respondents.
Remember to save all the changes you've made before leaving the page, then click Save Settings in the upper-right corner of the page. To see how your changes will appear in the survey, click Preview. You can now share the preview of your survey with a colleague or friend and ask for suggestions to be made before you launch it. Click Review in the Preview screen to do so. You can disable and enable this review link at any point of time.
