Zoho Bookings calendar sync works both ways. Once you connect your Google, Zoho, or Zoho CRM calendar, all existing events on that calendar will be fetched and displayed on Zoho Bookings. Similarly, every booking scheduled on Zoho Bookings will show up on your synced calendars.
Sync frequency:
- Google Calendar - Synced instantly
- Zoho Calendar - Every hour
- Zoho CRM Calendar - Synced instantly if plugin is installed. Otherwise, synced every hour.
Manual syncing: At any given time, you can click on the Sync button (My Profile > Manage Calendars > Sync) to re-sync latest appointments.
Sync your calendars
Syncing calendars is a two-step process.
- The Admin needs to enable the calendar.
- Once enabled, staff will be able to connect their Zoho Bookings schedules to their calendars.
Note: While setting up calendars and payment gateways, you'll have to authorize them in pop-up windows. Make sure you've enabled displaying pop-ups in your browser settings.
To enable a calendar (Admin task):
- Click the Manage Business icon in the top panel of Zoho Bookings.
- Note that the General tab is selected by default.
- Click on the Calendar tab.
- Click on one of the following calendars to enable it
- Google Calendar
- Zoho Calendar
- Zoho CRM Calendar. Click Accept in the pop-up window to allow Zoho Bookings to access your Zoho CRM organization account.
Once you enable a calendar, a pop-up will direct you to the next step. Choose Activate Now to proceed.
Alternatively, you can also activate the sync at any other time.To sync your calendars with your Zoho Bookings schedule,- Click My Profile on the top menu of Zoho Bookings.
- Click Manage Calendars.
To sync with Google Calendar- Click the Authorize button under Google Calendar.
- Select a Google account to sync with from the pop-up window. Or sign in to your Google account.
- Click Allow to authenticate Zoho Bookings. You will be redirected to Zoho Bookings.
- Choose your Google Calendar preferences in the pop-up in Zoho Bookings.
- Choose which calendar(s) should be checked before appointments are booked.
- Select a staff member associated with that calendar in Bookings
- Choose a calendar to which Bookings appointments should be added
- Click Proceed.
To sync multiple Google calendars:- Click the Add Account link under Google Calendar and follow the same authentication process.
To remove Google Calendar sync:- Click the More icon next to the synced calendar.
- Click Remove.
Let staff members sync their calendars (Admin task)
Once you’ve enabled calendar sync (Manage Business > Calendars), you can allow certain (or all) staff members to sync their personal calendars with Zoho Bookings.
To let staff members sync their calendars,- Click the Settings icon next to Google Calendar.
- Choose staff members and Save.
To sync with Zoho Calendar- Click the Authorize button under Zoho Calendar.
- Click Accept in the pop-up window to authenticate Zoho Bookings. You will be redirected to Zoho Bookings.
- Choose your Zoho Calendar preferences in the pop-up in Zoho Bookings.
- Choose which calendar(s) should be checked before appointments are booked.

- Choose a calendar to which Bookings appointments should be added.
