When someone leaves the organization on bad terms or under unexpected circumstances, transferring ownership by the user may not be feasible. In such instances, the super-admin has privileges to forcefully acquire all enterprise passwords owned by the user. There are three ways to perform this operation. You can:
- Acquire all enterprise passwords
- Acquire selected enterprise passwords
- Acquire and transfer all enterprise passwords to another user
To acquire all or selective enterprise passwords of a user
- Select Users from the User management section of the Admin tab.
- Select the user's passwords you wish to acquire, then click More.
- Select Acquire passwords to acquire all passwords. Alternatively, click Selectively Acquire Passwords to acquire selective passwords from the user. All acquired passwords will be automatically added to the super-admin's account.
Transfer passwords from one user to another
When a user moves to a different department, and another user takes over the responsibilities, the super-admin can transfer the passwords from one user to another.- Select Users from the User management section of the Admin tab.
- Select the user's passwords you wish to acquire, then click More.
- Click Transfer ownership, then select the user to transfer all the passwords to.
- Click Ok
All passwords will now be transferred to the selected user. This user will be the owner of the shared passwords moving forward.
Note: While performing these actions, if you have large-sized attachments, this process can take a while.
