Toll-free add-on: Benefits, availability, and cost

1. What is the toll-free add-on?

The toll-free add-on of Zoho Meeting is a package that offers toll-free numbers for more than 55 countries around the world. With toll-free numbers, your clients, prospects, and customers can join your online meetings and webinars through their phones without incurring any network or carrier charges. Most organizations provide this facility to treat their clients and customers in a professional and hospitable manner.

2. Why is the toll-free add-on priced?

The toll-free add-on is priced because Zoho Meeting pays its toll-free service providers who in turn pay the government for their toll-free license.

3. What does the toll-free add-on contain?

Currently, this add-on contains toll-free numbers for 56 countries around the world. This list is fast growing. Along with these, you also get premium toll numbers for five major Indian cities viz., Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune.

4. Are premium toll numbers toll-free?

Although premium toll numbers (for five Indian cities) are currently included in the toll-free add-on, they are not toll-free numbers. Like in a few other countries, local laws in India restrict the bridging of phone lines with VoIP. Premium toll numbers are special numbers procured by paying a license fee to the government. Hence they are priced and not free.
