Twitter Lists

Your Twitter feed shows you tweets from everyone you're following and you tend to miss important updates from some users because you may be following many of them. This is why Twitter introduced Lists, a feature which you can use to manage a customized list of users whose tweets you want to see together. These may be Twitter users who post on similar subjects, or ones that you want to see every update from. You also have the option to follow Lists that others have made. Here, you can learn more about the Twitter Lists feature.

Accessing existing Lists from Zoho Social

Here's how you can access existing Lists that you may have created on Twitter: 
  1. Go to the Monitor tab, click on the orange + button and select the column type as Lists. 
  2. This will open to show the Lists you have created and the Lists you have Subscribed to.


Creating new Lists on Zoho Social

Here's how you can create a new List:
  1. Go to the Monitor Tab and click on the orange +.
  2. Select the column type as Lists. 
  3. At the bottom, press + New Twitter List. 



  4. Give a name and description for your List.



  5. Set the Privacy Mode, you can choose for your list to be private or public.
  6. Click on Create.
  7. Search users by name or @username to add them as members to your List.


This way, you can curate a List of users and track conversations.

Adding a List as a Monitor column

To add a List as a Monitor column:
  1. Go to the Monitor Tab and click on the orange + button.
  2. Select the column type as Lists.



  3. Click on a List and select Save from the bottom right of the screen.

Viewing and editing details of a List

To edit a List that is already a Monitor column

  1. Click on (...) menu on the top right of the List's Monitor column.
  2. Select List Info.
  3. On the pop up, click the pencil icon at the bottom right to edit list details.

To edit a Twitter List that hasn't been added as a Monitor column

  1. Go to the Monitor Tab and click on the orange + button.
  2. Select the column type as Lists.
  3. Click on the member count (eg. 7 Members).



  4. On the pop up, click the pencil icon at the bottom right to edit List details.

Adding users to a List

Adding members to a List that is already a Monitor column

  1. Click on (...) menu on the top right of the List's Monitor column.
  2. Select List Info.
  3. On the pop up, click Add Users.
  4. You can search for users by their names or @usernames and add them.

Adding members to a List that hasn't been added as a Monitor column

  1. Go to the Monitor Tab and click on the orange + button.
  2. Select the column type as Lists.
  3. Click on the user count (eg. 7 Users).



  4. On the pop up, click on Add Users.

Adding members to a List from other Twitter columns

  1. Hover on a tweet from any Twitter column on the Monitor tab.
  2. Click on the (...) menu and select Add/Remove from a List.
  3. You can choose to add them to an existing List or create a new List with them.













Adding members to a List from the Connections tab

  1. Under the Connections tab, select a profile to view details
  2. Click on the (...) menu and select Add/Remove from a List.
  3. You can choose to add them to an existing List or create a new List with them.





Adding members to a List from Messages

  1. Under the Message tab, under Twitter Messages, select a profile to view details.
  2. Click on the (...) menu and select Add/Remove from a List.
  3. You can choose to add them to an existing List or create a new List for them.




You can add a Twitter user to a List from anywhere on Zoho Social if you select the (...) menu on their profile details, and select Add/Remove from a List.

Removing members from a List

To remove members from your List, follow these steps
  1. Go to the Monitor Tab and click on the orange +.
  2. Select the column type as Lists.
  3. Click on the member count (eg. 7 Users).



  4. On the pop up, hover on the member you want to remove, click the Remove Member icon.

Unsubscribing from a List

To unsubscribe from a Twitter List,
  1. Go to Monitor, click +.
  2. Select Twitter Lists.
  3. Under Subscribed Lists, click on the member count (eg. 7 members).



  4. Click on the Unsubscribe button at the bottom left.

Deleting a List

To delete a Twitter List,
  1. Go to Monitor, click +.
  2. Select Twitter Lists.
  3. Under Your Lists, click on the member count (eg. 7 members).



  4. Click Delete Twitter List.
