What are the differences in joining meetings using the Zoho Meeting desktop app and the browser?

Joining a meeting through your browser is faster, simpler and smoother if you lessen the load on your browser and enable the necessary permissions for it to transmit audio and video. The Zoho Meeting desktop app is recommended for application sharing, as well as to avoid problems arising from inadvertent disabling of audio and video permissions within the browser.

Resources usageThe quality of your sessions depends on how well your browser makes use of the available resources. This may vary according to how each browser is designed to handle resources, the number of tabs open at a time, etc.The desktop app is designed to use all available resources to make your sessions as smooth as possible.
