There are a few different ways in which open and click rate metrics can be missed:
- Plain text emails - These don't allow the pixel image to be sent, making it impossible to track open rates.
- Email image display settings - The majority of email programs, including Gmail and Outlook, will not display images in an email by default.
- Ineffective send times - Your emails must be sent when your recipients are most likely to open them, otherwise they'll just end up deleted without being read.
