From the Google Admin Console, Admins can either install the WorkDrive for Gmail add-on for their team or allow users to install it individually.
Domain-wide Add-on Installation for Admins
1. From your Google Admin Console, go to Apps.
2. Click the Add Marketplace apps icon (+) in the top-right corner.
3. Click the Search icon, type "WorkDrive for Gmail", and press enter.
4. Select the WorkDrive for Gmail add-on.

5. Click Domain Install.
6. Click CONTINUE.
7. Select the domain for which you want to grant access to the add-on.
8. Select the check box below and click Accept.
Once the add-on is installed for a domain, domain users can log in to the add-on from Gmail and use it from there.
You can choose to turn the add-on on for some users or turn it off for everyone.
To turn on for some or turn off for everyone:
1. From your Google Admin Console, go to Apps.
2. Click the vertical dots icon on the add-on on the right side.
3. Click ON for some or OFF for everyone.
These changes may take up to 24 hours to propagate to all users.
Individual Add-on Installation for Users
When a G Suite Marketplace app is not installed for a domain, and its users are allowed to install the G Suite Marketplace app, the users can install the app individually in their Google account.
To install the WorkDrive for Gmail Add-on:
1. Go to your Gmail account.
2. Click the plus icon (+) on the right sidebar.
G Suite Marketplace window will open. The apps that can be used directly with Gmail will be listed there.
3. Type "WorkDrive for Gmail" in the search bar and select it. A new screen for the WorkDrive for Gmail add-on will open.

4. Click Install.
5. Click Continue.
6. Select a Gmail account to continue.
7. Click Allow to grant the WorkDrive for Gmail add-on to access your Gmail account.
The add-on will be installed, and will appear on the right sidebar, above the plus icon (+).
8. Click the WorkDrive icon on the right sidebar.
9. Sign in to Zoho WorkDrive.
10. Allow the plugin to access your WorkDrive account.
The above steps are common to both G Suite users and free Google users.
Users can only install an app from the G Suite Marketplace if they are allowed by their Admin.
The following settings are available for admins in managing their users to install a G Suite Marketplace app:
- Allow users to install any application from G Suite Marketplace
- Do not allow users to install any application from G Suite Marketplace
- Allow users to install only whitelisted applications from G Suite Marketplace
