Workflow Alerts are one type of action which can be associated with a workflow rule. Alerts are email or SMS triggers that are sent to candidates, contacts, and users. If you associate a workflow alert with a workflow rule, the specified email or SMS is automatically sent to the selected recipients when the rule is triggered for records meeting the criteria specified in the rule.

Profile Permission Required: Users with the Manage Workflow profile permission can access this feature.
To create an email workflow alert:
- Go to Setup > Automation > Action > Alerts.
- In the Workflow Alerts page, click +Create Alert.
In the New Workflow Alert page:
- Choose Email as the Alert Type.
- Enter a Name for the alert.
- Select the module from the dropdown list.
- Browse for and associate an existing email template from the module's template folder. If you don't have a template, you can create a template by clicking New Template.
- Choose the recipients for the email. Everyone associated with the email will be displayed. If you choose roles, groups, territories, or subordinates, the email will be sent to all users in the selected category.
To create an SMS workflow alert:
Go to Setup > Automation > Action > Alerts.
In the Workflow Alerts page, click +Create Alert.
In the Create New Alert page:
- Choose SMS as the Alert Type.
- Enter a Name for the alert.
- Select the module from the dropdown list.
- Browse for and associate an existing email template from the module's template folder. If you don't have a template, click Create Templates.

If the email is to be sent to users in your organization, it is sent as a notification from the email address support@zohorecruit.com.
