Facebook shows an incorrect thumbnail when I share a post or URL. Why is this?
This is a common issue that can be handled using the Facebook debugger tool.
- Follow this link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/.
- Paste your site URL in the text box.
- Click the Show existing scrape information button.
- Facebook will provide different images to display. Select one, then click Fetch new scrape information.
