Rollbar for Zoho Directory

Prerequisites

  1. An Advanced or Enterprise account with Rollbar

Configure SAML in Zoho One

  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then use the search bar to find and install Rollbar.

  3. Name your app and enter your Account ID.
  4. Note: Your Account ID is the last part of your Rollbar URL. If your URL is "https://rollbar.com/zylker/", your Account ID will be "zylker".
  5. If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access Rollbar, uncheck Display app to users.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Click Manage Application, then Single Sign-On.
  8. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
  9. Click Identity Provider Details, then download the IDP Metadata.

Configure SAML in Rollbar

  1. Sign in to your Rollbar account.
  2. Click your account name, then click Account settings.
  3. Click Identity Provider under SECURITY, then select Other under SAML Identity Provider.
  4. Open the IdP Metadata file in a text editor, copy the content, then paste it in the SAML Metadata field.
  5. Click Save.

Test the SAML connection

  1. Return to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Rollbar.
  3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  4. Click . If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Rollbar's homepage.

Enforce SAML SSO

After successfully testing SSO, you can enforce it for all users. Once this is done, your users will no longer be able to sign in using their Rollbar credentials. To restrict users to SSO:
  1. Sign in to your Rollbar account.
  2. Click your account name, then click Account settings.
  3. Click Identity Provider under SECURITY, then check Require login via SAML Identity Provider under Authentication Settings.
  4. Click Save.

Make app visible to all users

After successfully testing the SSO, you can make Rollbar available for all users to access from their My Apps pages.

To make Rollbar visible to all users:
  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Rollbar.
  3. Click Edit, check Display app to users, then click Update.

  4. You can now access Rollbar from Zoho One's My Apps page.
