What steps can I take if I think I've encountered a spam trap?
- The first step is to recycle your active mailing list before you send out any further email campaigns.
- If you have any non- opt-in contacts, move those email addresses to your do-not-mail or unsubscribe list, then send a second opt-in email to your remaining contacts. Your double opt- in email may still be sent to a spam trap.
- In you have old or inactive contacts, send out a reengagement campaign. If you get no response, just take them out of your list.
- Ask your email marketing service provider about your domain's current reputation.
