How do I enable lock on the app?

Lock your notes to keep them safe. You can use numeric or alphanumeric passcodes. For devices with fingerprint scanner or face recognition capabilities, you get fingerprint ID/ Face ID. You can lock your notes or notebook by following the steps given below.

iOS :
  1. Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Passcode Lock > Turn Passcode On.
  2. Type a passcode of your choice, or tap Passcode Options to change its type.
  3. Type the passcode twice and set a passcode hint.
  4. To enable app lock, tap the Enable App Lock option and type the newly created passcode.
  5. Enable the Unlock with Touch ID/Face ID option to use fingerprint or Face ID to unlock (works on supported devices only).

Android :
  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Passcode Lock > Turn Passcode On.
  2. Set a passcode type of your choice.
  3. Type the passcode twice and create a hint. 
  4. Tap Save.
  5. To enable app lock, tap Enable App Lock option and type the newly created passcode.
  6. Enable Use Fingerprint option to use your fingerprint to unlock (works on supported devices only)
 
 
Mac :
  1. Navigate to Notebook > Preferences > Privacy & Security > Passcode Lock > Turn Passcode On.
  2. Type any passcode of your choice, re-enter the passcode, and create a hint.
  3. Click Set Passcode.
  4. To enable app lock, tap the Enable App Lock option and type the newly created passcode.
  5. Enable the Unlock with Touch ID option to use your Touch ID (Macbook with Touch bar).
 
 
Web, Windows & Linux :
  1. Click your profile picture at the top-right corner.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Security > Set Passcode.
  3. Select Yes.
  4. Type the passcode twice and create a hint.
  5. Click Save.
